Keeping cultural roots alive through interactive learning and fun

What's the Storytelling and Book Clubs like?
They are group meetings in which children get together to read, to give their opinion and to analyze the assigned reading.

Our program is theme based and age appropriate

Benefits:
- Interactive oral discussions allow children to gain a deeper level of understanding about the subject
- Children will learn from each other and gain confidence - Promote comprehension, vocabulary skills, cooperative learning


Heart House Hospice: Open to anyone that would be interested in become a Hospice Volunteer

Training sessions:

Mississauga—Saturdays 9am to 4pm starting May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22
Etobicoke—Saturdays 9am to 4pm starting March 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27
Burlington—Thursdays 1pm to 4pm April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 1

In addition, they are hoping to run a weekday afternoon training (probably Tuesdays 1-4pm) in Brampton starting the first week of April - location TBA (to be announced).

De esta manera, en un ambiente de camaradería y con mutuo apoyo, podremos intercambiar conocimientos, compartir experiencias y motivarnos unos a otros para persistir en el objetivo.
